Thalas tomb is located to the east of the Ankrahmun desert in Tibia. The easiest way to find it is by using the east gate of Ankrahmun city and then walking north east. The entrance is next to many little and large stones - once you have found a large stone area you will know that you at the right spot to start digging.
You will need to dig a specific square of sand in order to open the hole to gain entrance. The square you will need to dig is shown in the image to the left. Remember that when digging sand, you may need to dig the square anywhere up to 30 times in order to open the hole.
There are two floors to thalas tomb. The first floor has easier monsters and can be cleared without wasting any ultimate healing runes. The second floor has more dangerous monsters including Stalkers. Stalkers aren't very strong but can waste your runes by going invisible. It is wise to avoid the north east part of the tomb if you do not want to fight the stalkers. Be sure to always carry a backpack of light/heavy magic missiles open to shoot at the invisible stalkers. You will encounter the following monsters in Thalas tomb:
Knights are better suited to hunt in Thalas tomb. It is recommended that a knight has the minimum of level 50 and skills 70/70 with good equipment. Knights with level 70 and skills 80/80 will generate huge amounts of cash (sometimes up to 20k in 4 hours) without using many ultimate healing runes. Mage's will be able to hunt here reasonably well at level 40+ using exori vis, mort hur and alot of mana fluids. Paladins will be able to hunt here at level 45 + without much waste. However Thalas is recommended mostly to Knights as their are better hunting areas for mage's and paladins in tibia
Depending on how high level you are and the speed you kill the monsters 25k of experience points can be gained here. This is a great place to hunt if you want to earn lots of tibia gold as the loot from the monsters is excellent.
