Larva caves can be found in the desert of Ankrahmun. In total there are five larva caves that contain only larva's, there are not other monsters. Four of these caves can be found easily by digging a lose stone pile, however, there is a secret larva cave also hidden in the desert where you must dig a sand.
Larva caves have become one of the most popular hunting areas for low level power gamers. Each Larva cave contains a mass spawn of Larva's. They are not strong monsters, yield 44 experience points and can be killed very quickly. Unless your servers respawn is really slow you will have difficulty killing all of the larva's in a cave which is great as that means more experience points. The average experience gained per hour in one of these caves is 14,000.
They are easy for low levels to kill as they die fast and don't hit hard - if you are a low level wishing to power game then this is a great place to start. We have labeled each larva cave by it's location in the Ankrahmun desert. Here are the following five caves:
The north west larva cave is also known in Tibia as the 'secret' or 'hidden' larva cave. The reason for this is that it was discovered long after the other caves due to it's hidden location in the desert. In order to gain entrance to it you must dig a certain square of sand in the desert.
The map on the left has an arrow pointing to the square where you must dig in order to open the hole. The area is situated north west of the Ankrahmun desert only a short distance from the GS tomb and mountain divide between Darashia and Ank.
Please note that you may need to dig on the hole several times before it opens - the number of tries differs each time you want to open it.
This is possible the best larva cave on tibia. You won't be disturbed much due to it's secret location.
The north east larva cave can be found easiest by exiting Ankrahmun east gate and walking directly north. It is situated south of the Ancient ruin tombs. To gain entrance you will need to use a shovel on a lose stone pile.
The map to the right has a red arrow showing the exact location of where the hole can be found.
The central larva cave is possibly the most busiest cave of all five. Because of it's location it is found my the most explorers. It is located directly north of the Ankrahmun north gate. To gain entrance you will need to dig a stone pile and walk down the hole.
The arrow to on the picture shows the exact location of this cave. If you are planning on hunting in peace without being disturbed this is not the best gave for the job!
This cave is located south west of the Ankrahmun desert. The easiest and fastest way to get there is by exiting ank by the west gate. You must only walk a slight bit north and then west and you will arrive to a stone pile that you must dig.
This tomb is one of the best and has a great respawn however it is often very busy with tibia players entering and leaving the cave.
The south easy larva cave is located south east of the ank desert. It is south of the tarp pits, west of Thalas tomb and north of east gate of ankrahmun.
The easiest way to find this cave is by leaving ankrahmun via east gate and walking directly north.. You will then find a lose stone pile that you must dig with your shovel.
